Future seat of the Luna Mora Festival of Guaro

The project, situated in an ancient olive oil mill, incorporates new technologies and will become one of the most modern museum installations of the region.

One of the most ambitious projects it is in the the last phase of its rehabilitation and already has its own identity. Its positive repercussions are such that it is changing the shape of this mountainous village.

We are talking about the creation of the Al-Andalus Cultural Centre, situated in a century old olive mill and where the Luna Mora Festival of Guaro will have its seat. A laborious reconstruction has resulted in the appearance of a neo-mudejar tower, which gi ves the village a new identity and which will house an ethnographic museum. The project incorporates new technologies which will create one of the most modern museum installations of the region.

The opening of this centre will coincide with the future incorporation into the almoravids route of the Al Andalus legacy. This will allow various activities in connection with our cultural legacy to be available on a permanent basis, particularly in the summer months. The proximity to the Costa del Sol to an interested public will guarantee the success of the project.
